WSC is supplying a translator to emulate the Logic and Control portion of the Karnkraftsakerhet och Utbildning AB (KSU) Ringhals 3 Fire Protection Control System, which uses Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7. WSC's delivery to KSU includes the necessary 3KEYMASTER framework to allow the translated Logic and Control models, developed under the 3KEYMASTER environment, to be exported to and seamlessly execute under the existing simulator executive (GSE SimExec) running on a Windows-based operating system. The emulation will include the execution of the S7 control logics, modulating control strategies, and data acquisition.
