In 2021, WSC delivered a replica simulator model to the MIT Nuclear Laboratory for the MIT Research Reactor (MITR), a multi-purpose research reactor that is the second largest university reactor in the United States. Based on a transition planned for MITR to the use of Low Enriched Uranium (LEU) fuel, WSC will provide an upgrade of the MITR simulator to support the use of LEU fuel.
