WSC was awarded a contract to upgrade the Duke Energy Sutton Simulator to develop the ITS Steam Turbine Startup Lessons for the Combined-Cycle Simulator. In 2019, as part of the Siemens T3000 emulation project, WSC provided Sutton with 3KEYITS, which supplements simulator training for station operators with automated lessons (instructor training). 3KEYITS helps familiarize students with both the uses of the DCS and the day-to-day plant operations and evolutions. The project will add to their existing set of lessons and include improved voice audio with the lessons.
